Friday Market Day
Join us for a wonderful day out to the beautiful historic market town of Stamford, often regarded as one of England’s finest stone-built towns.
The main Stamford Market is held every Friday on Broad Street and Ironmonger Street, with around 70–90 traders selling food, crafts, clothing, flowers, gifts, local produce, cheese, bread, fish and much more. The market generally runs from 8:30am until 4:00pm.
There is also a smaller market area around Red Lion Square and the High Street, together with regular local produce stalls alongside the main Friday market.

Arriving in Stamford at approximately 11.50am.
The coach will depart Stamford at 6:00pm.
Enjoy a full day exploring this charming market town, with its beautiful stone buildings, independent shops, riverside walks along the River Welland and numerous cafés, pubs and tea rooms.

Optional afternoon visit – Burghley House (admission not included)
Just outside the town centre is the magnificent Burghley House, one of England’s grandest Elizabethan stately homes.
You may wish to:
