Broadway and West End stars Megan Hilty and Rachel Tucker will play Lorelei Lee and Dorothy Shaw in this exciting new concert production, directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Warren Carlyle.
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is the classic Broadway musical with music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Leo Robin and a book by Anita Loos and Joseph Fields.
This special London Palladium concert staging will feature an orchestra of 30 musicians. Set aboard an ocean liner bound for Paris, the story follows Lorelei Lee and Dorothy Shaw through a glamorous and witty adventure, featuring famous songs including “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend”, “A Little Girl from Little Rock” and “Bye Bye Baby”.
The original musical opened on Broadway in 1949 with Carol Channing as Lorelei and was later adapted into the famous 1953 film starring Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell.
