One of my most popular days out is Wroxham, Norfolk and the boat trip along the Broads.

WROXHAM AND A CRUISE ALONG THE NORFOLK BROADS
our sailing is booked for 3pm and usually lasts around 1.5/  2 hours ish.
We usually arrive in Wroxham around 11.30am – I like to book my lunch for 1pm , on the Broads I often head to The Bridge which offers a vast range of food with wonderful views overlooking the Broads — update the Bridge is currently closed.

I’ve tried the following :-

Hotel Wroxham
Riverside Tea Room and Coffee Shop
The Old Mill Restaurant and Coffee Bar
Indian Spoon
The Kings Head
Explore the famous Roys department store – wander around the broads , perhaps sit on the Broads with a picnic before we head off to Horning (just a 2o minute drive) to collect our boat.
Booked for 3pm for our cruise which lasts 1.5 hours with a fully stocked bar and refreshments too.
Leaving at 5pm we are back locally around 8pm traffic pending.
Join our crew for a memorable river experience
Our boat is a luxury river cruiser which runs regular trips from the beautiful village of Horning, along the River Bure through the village and out to Ranworth Broad and back, passing lovely old thatched houses, windmills and Norfolk reed beds. Throughout the trip there is an excellent commentary and continual pointing out of all the water birds around at the time. There is the ever present bustle of river traffic with cruisers, yachts and the occasional wherry.

You may bring a picnic for the coach  if you wish to, however,   I would ask you avoid any smelly foods and take your rubbish with you.

The drivers are in charge of our travel into Norfolk and whilst it maybe useful to assist the driver often sat navigation systems  we have will not suffice for the coach route so we leave the plan to the capable driver.

Please refrain from walking up and down the coach as this can be dangerous.  If you need to speak to me or the driver just pass a message down the coach – this is for your safety and the safety of other passengers.

I have high regard for my drivers and always ask customers if they would like to contribute to a non – obligatory tip as a thank you from us.

Please refer to the terms and conditions with regard to respecting others on the coach.

We will provide clear instructions where to meet the coach and the time we depart on the day.   If you are unable to meet the coach at the departure time the coach will still depart on time as stated to be fair to others on board.

 

 

Please always take care when getting on and off the coach.

There is a toilet on the coach

You may leave items on the coach.
