BJÖRN Again (Boney M, The Real Thing & Miss Disco) at Audley End – Friday 4 August 2023 @ 3pm

Audley End allow small foldable chairs and a picnic.  Alcohol is not permitted.  They have various food and drink stalls on-site.  Times for the coach will be confirmed – estimated we leave Southend on Sea mid morning.

Front seats on the coach are reserved for customers with disabilities. 

Heritage Live has announced that the internationally acclaimed BJÖRN AGAIN will headline a Friday night show packed with disco and soul hits in the grounds of Audley End House & Gardens, the latest addition to its outdoor concert series there this summer.

Special guests for the event, which takes place on Friday 4^th August, will be The Real Thing and Boney M, as well as Saffron Walden’s own Miss Disco.

On the show, Heritage Live Organiser Giles Cooper said:

Dubbed the ‘Best ABBA Show in the World’, BJÖRN AGAIN have gained mass appeal since their inception in 1988 and have been acknowledged as initiating the worldwide ABBA revival.

Created by Australian musician and manager Rod Stephen, BJÖRN AGAIN has registered 5,500 performances in 75 countries, even gaining plaudits from the members of ABBA themselves:

“It was a great show. I loved the choreography, it was very true to life…” – Agnetha Fältskog, founding member of ABBA.

Formed in 1972, The Real Thing are Britain’s longest-established – and best-loved – black group. Universally known for their legendary hits ‘You To Me Are Everything’, ‘Can’t Get By Without You’ and ‘Can You Feel the Force’, as well as their ground-breaking 1977 song, ‘Children of the Ghetto’, The Real Thing remain pioneers in soul, funk and dance music.

Since their inception in 1976 in West Germany, Boney M have sold over 150 million records worldwide with their quintessential hits of the Disco era, including “Daddy Cool”, “Brown Girl In The Ring”, “Rivers of Babylon”, “Mary’s Boy Child” and “Rasputin”.

Miss Disco are the UK’s premier live disco band. With decades of experience playing together at concerts around the UK and Europe, their show is second to none. Dazzling costumes, slick dance routines and all of the disco classics guarantee that the dance floor is lit up from the second they step on stage.

Time to be confirmed once I have organised (estimate we leave in the morning, not too early to arrive in good time to set up and enjoy the venue)

You may bring a picnic for the coach  if you wish to, however,   I would ask you avoid any smelly foods and take your rubbish with you.

The drivers are in charge of our travel into Essex and whilst it maybe useful to assist the driver often sat navigation systems  we have will not suffice for the coach route so we leave the plan to the capable driver.

Please refrain from walking up and down the coach as this can be dangerous.  If you need to speak to me or the driver just pass a message down the coach – this is for your safety and the safety of other passengers.

I have high regard for my drivers and always ask customers if they would like to contribute to a non – obligatory gratuity  as a thank you from us.

Please complete the NOTES section on your if you have an additional requirements  I need to know without this section being completed I am unable to guarantee particular requests.

Please refer to the terms and conditions with regard to respecting others on the coach.

We will provide clear instructions where to meet the coach and the time we depart on the day.   If you are unable to meet the coach at the departure time the coach will still depart on time as stated to be fair to others on board.

Please can you take your seats swiftly on the coach – the driver can not leave until you are sitting down – this avoids hold ups en-route.

Please always take care when getting on and off the coach.

Tickets are given to you on the day, usually e-tickets.

There is a toilet on the coach.

You may leave items on the coach.

Bookings are not refundable once purchased – I am sorry I am unable to resell any tickets purchased or advertise resales  on my group page.
