During the Second World War, thousands of people worked in complete secrecy at Bletchley Park, helping to decipher enemy communications and provide vital intelligence to the Allied forces. Today, the beautifully restored site brings their remarkable story to life.
Explore the historic huts, blocks and buildings where this groundbreaking work took place and discover more about the brilliant mathematicians, linguists, engineers, intelligence staff and support teams who worked behind the scenes. Learn about famous figures such as Alan Turing and the extraordinary efforts involved in breaking encrypted enemy messages.
There is plenty to see throughout the day, including immersive films, interactive displays, fascinating museum collections and faithfully recreated WW2 rooms. Discover the story of the Enigma machine, learn how codebreaking machines helped process huge amounts of information, and find out how intelligence gathered at Bletchley Park played such an important role in the Allied war effort.
You can also enjoy walking around the atmospheric grounds and lake, visit the historic Mansion and experience what daily life was like for the thousands of people who once worked at this highly secret location.
