Windsor Castle at Christmas – Including St George’s Chapel

I am delighted to be able to take the group the Windsor Castle with entry to St Georges Chapel which is open to visitors  (recommend heading to the Chapel first).  The visit I attended recently left me speachless as we walked quietly through the Chapel and then attended the stunning state rooms.

The State apartments are open when the castle is open, with a few exceptions throughout the year when official state events are taking place.

It is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world.

You will be able to visit the final resting place of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

Take in the splendour of St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, the burial place of 11 monarchs including Queen Elizabeth II, Henry VIII and Charles I, the setting for the marriages of Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle and HRH Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank in 2018 and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England.

St George’s Chapel is regarded as one of the most beautiful ecclesiastical buildings in England and is characterised

The coach parks close to the shops and the Castle and close to the river. You have time for a wander around the shops, a stroll to the river as you wish before our timed entry at 1pm.

We depart at 5pm.

I found the Castle very wheelchair friendly, the staff were outstanding to meet my Fathers needs in his wheelchair on the day and we can store the chair in the luggage area of the coach.

Windsor Castle At Christmas - How Queen ...

You may bring a picnic for the coach  if you wish to, however,   I would ask you avoid any smelly foods and take your rubbish with you.

The drivers are in charge of our travel into Windsor and whilst it maybe useful to assist the driver often sat navigation systems  we have will not suffice for the coach route so we leave the plan to the capable driver.

Please refrain from walking up and down the coach as this can be dangerous.  If you need to speak to me or the driver just pass a message down the coach – this is for your safety and the safety of other passengers.

I have high regard for my drivers and always ask customers if they would like to contribute to a non – obligatory tip as a thank you from us.

Please refer to the terms and conditions with regard to respecting others on the coach.
