Description
Cotswolds Market Day & Bourton-on-the-Water Trip
We will be visiting Moreton-in-Marsh on Market Day, one of the principal market towns in the northern Cotswolds.
The broad High Street is lined with beautiful 17th- and 18th-century buildings and hosts around 200 market stalls to explore. There are also plenty of pubs, tea rooms, and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy lunch.
After lunch, at approximately 2:00 PM, we will reboard the coach and take a scenic drive through Stow-on-the-Wold, before continuing on to Bourton-on-the-Water.
Often referred to as the “Venice of the Cotswolds”, Bourton-on-the-Water is famous for its charming low bridges crossing the River Windrush.
We will spend a leisurely afternoon here. If you are planning to eat, it is advisable to book in advance.
We will return to the coach at 5:30 PM for our journey home.
