About the Show

Set in the summer of 1963, 17-year-old Frances “Baby” Houseman is on holiday in New York’s Catskill Mountains with her family. Uninterested in the resort’s activities, she discovers an all-night staff dance party where she encounters dance instructor Johnny Castle. Mesmerised by the music and energy, Baby is drawn into a world of passion, movement, and emotional discovery. When she becomes Johnny’s dance partner, their lives intertwine in a story of independence, challenge, and unforgettable romance.
