Follow in the footsteps of the worlds most infamous serial killer, visit the murder sites and unravel the clues in London’s ultimate murder mystery.

You will be guided by an expert author and Ripperologist around the dark streets and alleyways of Whitechapel. They will bring the past to life as you see the crime scene locations as they were then and how they are now.

We will walk the very route the Ripper would have taken and explore the dimly lit backstreets of Whitechapel and hear the harrowing tales and conspiracy theories of London’s most notorious serial killer. We will practically bring you back to a time of gaslight and fog, a time of poverty, disease and silent footsteps in the shadows as the ripper hunted his victims.

Each of our guides is a dedicated Ripperologist with many of them having written their own books on the subject.  So when you walk with us you are waking with the best.

What’s included :

travel to London – free time spent in the area of Aldgate East – perhaps a meal in Brick Lane – head to the Tower of  London (entry is not included), Spitalfields Market, riverside pubs in Wapping (Prospect of Whitby, Town of Ramsgate, Captain Kidd) , St Katherines docks for a wander/meal or if you wish you can use the tube or a bus or even a bike  and head anywhere you wish prior to our tour.

• 2 hour tour exploring the murder sites of Jack the Ripper
• RIPPER VISION – Your Ripperologist’ tour guide who will use the world famous Ripper Vision projector.
• Original crime scene photographs and images, not seen by the public before.
• You will experience the Victorian london of the Ripper and see all key locations in the police investigation.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY ?

The tour starts outside the front door of the Whitechapel Art Gallery, located at Exit 3 of Aldgate East station in London.

Your expert guide will then take you on a guided tour around the crime scene locations associated with Jack the Ripper and Victorian london.  The tour will last around 2 hours.

You will see original crime scene locations,  photographs and images from the police investigation aswell as seeing our famous Ripper Vision projector which adds a unique twist on the tale.

Participant guidelines

• Under 16s must be accompanied and supervised by a paying adult
• The tour is suitable for assisted wheelchair users
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Estimated timings always confirmed 3-4 weeks before the event:-

WALNUT TREE 12 noon

ELMS 12.20pm

HADLEIGH 12.35pm

SADLERS 12.40pm

FIVE BELLS BASILDON 12.45pm

We arrive in the area (traffic pending) around 1.45pm .

You have free time between 1.45pm – 7.45pm as you wish.

The coach will be waiting, ready to take you home after the tour (estimated departure time around 10.15pm ).

You may bring a picnic for the coach  if you wish to, however,   I would ask you avoid any smelly foods and take your rubbish with you.

The drivers are in charge of our travel into London and whilst it maybe useful to assist the driver often sat navigation systems  we have will not suffice for the coach route so we leave the plan to the capable driver.

Please refrain from walking up and down the coach as this can be dangerous.  If you need to speak to me or the driver just pass a message down the coach – this is for your safety and the safety of other passengers.

I have high regard for my drivers and always ask customers if they would like to contribute to a non – obligatory gratuity  as a thank you from us.

Please refer to the terms and conditions with regard to respecting others on the coach.

We will provide clear instructions where to meet the coach and the time we depart on the day.   If you are unable to meet the coach at the departure time the coach will still depart on time as stated to be fair to others on board.

Please can you take your seats swiftly on the coach – the driver can not leave until you are sitting down – this avoids hold ups en-route.

Please always take care when getting on and off the coach.

There is a toilet on the coach.

You may leave items on the coach.

Bookings are not refundable once purchased – I am sorry I am unable to resell any tickets purchased or advertise resales  on my group page.
