Coach Pick-Up Times

(Times will be confirmed approximately 3–4 weeks before departure.)

The Windsor Enclosure is situated alongside the Home Straight, giving racegoers a fantastic view of the famous Royal Procession as it travels down the Straight Mile before racing begins.

Dress Code

There is no formal dress code in the Windsor Enclosure, however racegoers are encouraged to dress smartly and enjoy the occasion.

Ladies may wish to wear smart daywear with a hat or fascinator, while gentlemen are encouraged to wear a jacket, collared shirt and full-length trousers.

Arrival & Day Schedule

• Arrive at Ascot at approximately 12:00 noon (traffic permitting)
• Time to enjoy a picnic beside the coach before entering
• Coach parking is reserved in Coach Park 8, regarded as the best coach parking area for all enclosures and offering the shortest walk to the entrance
• Royal Procession – 2:00pm
• First Race – 2:30pm
• Coach departs Ascot – 8:00pm

Picnic Information

Picnics are permitted in the Windsor Enclosure, subject to Ascot’s regulations.

You are welcome to bring your own picnic and picnic chairs or small tables may be brought along and stored on the coach until arrival.

Guests aged 18 and over may bring one bottle of Champagne or sparkling wine to accompany their picnic. No other alcoholic drinks are permitted within the enclosure and all picnic bags will be checked on entry.

There are also plenty of food and drink outlets available within the enclosure should you prefer to purchase refreshments during the day.

Coach Rules

As always, no alcohol may be consumed on the coach on either the outward or return journey. Usual coach rules apply no hot drinks please or strong smelling foods.
