Poppies at the Tower of London – Sunday, 1st of June 2025
Join us for a deeply moving visit to the Tower of London, where nearly 30,000 of the original poppies from the 2014 installation, Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red, will return. This specially commissioned display honours the sacrifices of World War II, creating a striking visual reminder of loss and remembrance.
Designed by Tom Piper and originally created by artist Paul Cummins, this powerful installation will resemble a wound at the heart of the Tower, with poppies pouring across the lawn, forming a crater with ripples flowing outward. Set within the historic walls of the Tower, it provides a space for reflection in this significant anniversary year.
