About the Show

​You’re in for a powerful and inspiring experience with TINA – The Tina Turner Musical at the Aldwych Theatre on August 28th. This acclaimed West End production chronicles the life of Tina Turner, tracing her journey from humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to becoming the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll. The musical delves into her personal and professional struggles, including overcoming racism, sexism, and a tumultuous relationship with Ike Turner, ultimately highlighting her resilience and triumphant comeback

The show features many of Tina Turner’s iconic hits, such as “Proud Mary,” “River Deep – Mountain High,” “What’s Love Got to Do with It,” and “(Simply) The Best,” ensuring a memorable musical experience .

Fleur East, known for her dynamic performances, has joined the cast and will be sharing the lead role of Tina Turner. However, as with all live performances, specific cast appearances cannot be guaranteed on any given date.​

The Aldwych Theatre is ideally located near Covent Garden and just a 10-minute walk to Soho or Leicester Square. You’ll have time before the show for a relaxed lunch or stroll, and time afterward for a meal before we depart.
