FAVERSHAM & DEAL – SATURDAY 3 APRIL 2027
We head off to Faversham on Saturday 3 April, leaving Canvey Island in the morning. Faversham is a particularly good choice for this date as it is a Saturday market day, with both the regular Charter Market and the Best of Faversham Artisan Market taking place.
We will have around 3 hours to explore Faversham, giving us plenty of time to browse the market stalls, explore the historic town centre, visit the artisan market and stop for something to eat or drink.
The artisan market features locally produced arts, crafts, food and drink, while the main Charter Market offers a wider selection of stalls and is particularly good for local produce.
After our time in Faversham, we’ll head over to Deal for a further 2 hours of free time. This will give you the opportunity to enjoy the seafront and famous pier, wander along the High Street, browse the independent shops or simply relax with a coffee or ice cream.

12:00–3:00pm – Free time in Faversham – markets, town centre, lunch and exploring
3:00pm – Depart Faversham
~3:30pm – Arrive in Deal
3:30–5:30pm – Free time in Deal
5:30pm – Depart Deal for home.
