Whitstable Coach Trip

Saturday 21 August

We’re off to Whitstable for a fantastic day by the sea!

There is so much to see and do, from shopping and exploring the town to eating, drinking, enjoying a beach or harbour walk — and perhaps even trying one of Whitstable’s famous oysters!

Estimated Pick-Up Times

Please note that these times are estimated and will be confirmed by email approximately 3–4 weeks before the trip.

• Walnut Tree – 9:30am
• Palace – 9:40am
• Elms – 9:50am
• Thames Drive – 9:55am
• Hadleigh – 10:05am
• Kents Hill – 10:15am
• Sadlers – 10:20am
• Five Bells – 10:30am
• Grays – 10:40am

Subject to traffic and travelling conditions, we aim to arrive in Whitstable at around 12 noon.

The coach will depart Whitstable at approximately 5:30pm.

Food & Drink on the Coach

You are welcome to bring a picnic or snacks for the coach journey if you wish.

Please avoid bringing any strong-smelling foods and kindly take all rubbish with you when leaving the coach.

Your Coach Journey

Our drivers are responsible for planning the safest and most suitable coach route. Although passengers may sometimes wish to help with directions, standard sat-nav systems do not always account for restrictions affecting larger vehicles. Please therefore leave the route planning to our experienced driver.

For your safety, please do not walk up and down the coach while it is moving.

If you need to speak to me or the driver during the journey, please pass a message down the coach rather than leaving your seat. This is for your safety and the safety of everyone travelling with us.

Please take your seat promptly when boarding. The driver cannot safely depart until everyone is seated, and doing so quickly helps us avoid unnecessary delays.

Please also take extra care when getting on and off the coach.

Driver Tips

I have great respect for the drivers who look after us on our trips.

Customers are welcome to contribute towards a non-obligatory driver tip as a thank you for their service. There is absolutely no obligation to do so.

On the Coach

• There is a toilet on board.
• You may leave personal items on the coach during the day.
• Please remember that any belongings left on the coach are left at your own risk.

Respecting Other Passengers

Please refer to the Terms and Conditions regarding appropriate behaviour and respecting fellow passengers.

We want everyone travelling with us to enjoy a comfortable, safe and pleasant journey.

Returning to the Coach

Clear instructions will be provided on the day regarding where to meet the coach and the exact departure time.

Please make sure you return to the coach in plenty of time.

To be fair to everyone travelling, the coach will depart at the stated time. Unfortunately, we cannot delay departure for passengers who have not returned to the meeting point on time.

Bookings & Cancellations

Please note that bookings are non-refundable once purchased.

Unfortunately, I am unable to resell tickets on your behalf or advertise ticket resales on my group page.

When making your booking, you should receive an email containing your booking reference.
