Join us for a wonderful day in France combining a little French shopping, a delicious 2-course lunch with wine at the beautiful Château de Cocove, and a scenic stop at Lac d’Ardres for photographs before we make our way home.

We are so pleased to be returning to Château de Cocove, which has always been a firm favourite on our previous visits. It really is a lovely setting in which to relax, enjoy good food and spend a few hours together.

🇫🇷 Your Day

We’ll make an early start and travel by coach to Folkestone for our planned 7:50am LeShuttle crossing to France.

Once across the Channel, our first stop will be Cité Europe, where you’ll have approximately 2 hours of free time to shop, browse and stock up on your favourite French goodies.

There are plenty of shops to explore, so whether it’s French wines, chocolates, gifts, beauty products or simply a wander and a coffee, there should be something for everyone.

Please note: food-import rules can change, so we will confirm nearer the time exactly which food products may be brought back into the UK.

At around 12 noon, we’ll rejoin our coach and make the short journey to the beautiful Château de Cocove, ready for our reserved lunch at approximately 1:00pm.

A delicious 2-course lunch will be served in the château restaurant.

After lunch there will be time to relax, enjoy the surroundings, take photographs, have a wander or perhaps visit the bar for an additional drink at your own expense.

📸 A Little Extra Stop – Lac d’Ardres

Before returning to Calais, we’re planning a lovely little stop at Lac d’Ardres.

This will give us a chance to stretch our legs, enjoy the scenery and, most importantly, get some lovely group photographs together in France. ❤️

It should be the perfect way to finish our afternoon before heading back towards LeShuttle.

🚆 Journey Home

We are currently planning to travel back on the 7:50pm LeShuttle crossing from France.

Allowing for the time difference, we expect to arrive back in the UK at approximately 7:25–7:30pm, with Grays at around 9:00pm, followed by the remaining drop-off points in reverse order.

All timings are approximate and may be adjusted once our final LeShuttle arrangements are confirmed.
