LONG MELFORD & LAVENHAM- PLEASE ADD YOUR PICK UP POINT INTO THE NOTES SECTION.
Saturday 1st May 2027
Join us for a delightful two-centre day trip to two of Suffolk’s prettiest historic villages.
Our first stop is Long Melford, arriving at around 11am. Enjoy approximately three hours at leisure to browse Hall Street’s antique and independent shops, stroll across The Green, visit beautiful Holy Trinity Church, see Melford Hall, or relax over lunch in one of the village’s welcoming pubs, cafés or tearooms.
There are plenty of pubs to choose from for lunch, so you may wish to book a table in advance if you have somewhere particular in mind.
At 2pm we make the short journey to Lavenham, one of England’s finest medieval wool towns. Wander its famous timber-framed streets, explore Market Place, browse the shops, visit the historic Guildhall area, or enjoy afternoon tea and cake in one of Lavenham’s charming tearooms.
The Swan at Lavenham Hotel & Spa serves afternoon tea from 12pm–4pm. You may wish to book in advance if this is something you would like to enjoy. Afternoon tea is not included in the trip price.
Coach departs Lavenham at 5pm.
