Itinerary
Day 1 – Monday 6th July 2026
Bath – Free afternoon
Depart Southend-on-Sea around 8:00 AM and head to the historic Roman spa town of Bath. You will have 4 hours to explore before heading to Bristol and arriving at approximately 6:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to check in and enjoy free time to explore this vibrant city at your leisure.
Day 2 – Tuesday 7th July
Bristol – Free Day
Enjoy a full day in Bristol to explore its many attractions, shops, cafes, harbourside, and cultural sights at your own pace. The day starts with a visit to Clifton by coach where you can walk across the famous Clifton suspension bridge designed and built by Isambard Kindom Brunel returning to the city centre by coach for you to continue exploring more of the city.
Day 3 – Wednesday 8th July
Bath – Free Day
Check out and travel to the historic Sudeley Castle, home of Katherine Parr, the only surviving Queen and 6th wife of King Henry VIII. Katherine rests in the chapel. Explore the castle state rooms and the beautiful gardens. We arrive back at Basildon later that evening onwards via my usual pick up points to Southend.
