In 2008, members of various groups in Broadstairs came together, keen to explore ways to promote the town and to showcase its many independent shops, restaurants and pubs.

The idea was to create a festival, which would support the High Street, promote the area’s small food and drink producers and encourage visitors to explore all that the three coastal towns of Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate had to offer.

Home to Kent’s largest free to enter food festivals, our 3-day events bring together the best of Kent’s producers and exhibitors.

Chefs from across the county offer unmissable live cooking demonstrations, local retailers offer taste sessions and, at Easter, there are free to attend childrens’ activities.

Over 100 stalls, with everything from daily bread to a bespoke champagne and seafood bar.

Look for the Taste of Kent award winners amongst cheeses, pickles, pies, preserves, wine, spirits and craft producers.

We arrive in Broadstairs around 11.50am and depart at 5pm
