🚌 RICHMOND/ KEW AT CHRISTMAS
Outward Journey
11:30 am – Coach departure begins
Departing from Walnut Tree, followed by the usual pick-up points.
Approx. 12:45 pm – Grays
Expected arrival/pick-up at Grays.

🛍️ Afternoon in Richmond
Approx. 1:45 pm – Arrive in Richmond
The coach will drop passengers at Richmond Green, approximately a 5-minute walk from the main attractions.
You’ll have around 3 hours of free time to enjoy Richmond.
Ideas for the afternoon:
- Shopping in Richmond
- Lunch, coffee or refreshments
- A walk along the River Thames
- Exploring Richmond and the surrounding area
There are plenty of cafés, pubs and restaurants to choose from.
4.50PM – Depart Richmond
Please return to the agreed coach meeting point in good time.
✨ Christmas at Kew
5:20 pm – Timed entry to Christmas at Kew
Enjoy the illuminated Christmas trail through the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, with spectacular lights, projections and immersive installations.
There are resting points along the route, as well as opportunities to:
- Stop for a hot chocolate or glass of wine
- Purchase Christmas gifts
- Take your time enjoying the displays
A brisk walk around the trail may take approximately 45 minutes, although you can take longer and enjoy the experience at your own pace.
Important: Some paths are uneven, so comfortable, suitable footwear is recommended.
🚌 Journey Home
8:00 pm – Coach departs from Elizabeth Gate
Please make sure you are back at the coach meeting point before departure. The coach must leave on time for the benefit of everyone travelling.
🎒 Useful Information
You may bring a picnic or food to eat on the coach, but please avoid strong-smelling foods and take all rubbish with you.
There is a toilet on the coach, and belongings may be left on the coach during the trip.
For safety, please remain seated while the coach is moving. If you need to speak to the organiser or driver, pass a message down rather than walking through the coach.
The driver will determine the appropriate coach route into Kew.
Please take care when getting on and off the coach.
A non-obligatory driver’s tip may be collected as a thank-you.
Tickets will be handed out on the coach on the day.
Purchased tickets cannot be resold by the organiser.
