Our Premier tickets are now reserved for Simply Red live after racing at Newmarket Racecourse.

Important information about Premier tickets and seating

Premier tickets do not include an allocated or reserved seat for the concert. The Simply Red concert is an outdoor standing event.

During the racing, our Premier tickets give us access to the Premier areas, including good viewing near the finishing post, Premier grandstand areas, the Parade Ring, Pre-Parade Ring and Winners’ Enclosure, as well as Premier bars and restaurants.

There is racecourse and grandstand seating available during the day, but seats are not reserved, so you can use any available seating within the areas our tickets allow access to.

We cannot bring our own chairs, stools, picnic blankets, tables or other furniture into the Premier Enclosure.

For the Simply Red concert, the main area directly in front of the stage is standing only and sitting there during the performance is not permitted.

There should be places around the racecourse where you can sit, although sitting further back may mean your view of the concert is partly restricted.

So, in short: we should be able to sit during much of the racing, but anyone wanting a good view of Simply Red should expect to stand for the concert.

Please bear in mind that race and concert timings are subject to confirmation/change nearer the date.

Coach pick-up times – always confirmed 3/4 weeks prior to the event date and subject to change.

We expect to arrive at Newmarket at approximately 11.45am.

Racecourse & concert timings

• Gates open – 11.30am
• First race – approximately 1.30pm
• Last race – approximately 5.35pm
• Simply Red – approximately 6.00pm–8.45pm
• Coach departure – approximately 9.15/9.30pm

WHAT MAKES OUR PREMIUM TICKETS SPECIAL? Our Premium tickets give us access to the Premier Enclosure, including the opportunity to stand close to the winning post and enjoy first access to the area in front of the concert stage!   GET CLOSER TO THE ACTION! There is usually a stand with unreserved seating, but please be aware that these seats face the racetrack and are in the same stand as the stage.  For the best view of Simply Red, standing in the area in front of the stage is recommended. If you choose to sit in the stand, you will be able to hear the concert, but your view of the artists may be fairly restricted. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the racing atmosphere and then get closer to the stage for an evening of brilliant live music!
