Step Aboard the Waverley – A Magical Evening Cruise from Southend to London

IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE I AM UNABLE TO SWAP ANY OTHER DATE YOU HAVE BOOKED WITH ME!

Join us for a one-way evening cruise aboard Waverley, the world’s last seagoing paddle steamer, as we journey up the River Thames in unforgettable style.

Starting from Southend Pier, the longest pleasure pier in the world, we’ll sail past a constantly changing riverscape—passing the Thames Barrier, the striking O2 Arena, and the glittering towers of Canary Wharf—before the highlight of the evening: Tower Bridge opening just for us, allowing Waverley to glide through into the Pool of London under the city’s night-time glow.

🛳 About the Waverley
Built in 1946, Waverley has been lovingly restored with towering red funnels, gleaming brass fittings, and timber decks. This is more than just a boat trip—it’s a chance to step back into maritime history while soaking up iconic views of London by twilight.
