A Delightful Day in Highgate Village & Highgate Cemetery
Join us for a beautifully planned visit to the charming Highgate Village in North London, including entrance and a private guided tour of the spectacular Highgate Cemetery.
Travel and Arrival
We will travel by coach to Highgate Village. From there, we will take a 15-minute downhill walk through the scenic Waterlow Park, passing by George Michael’s bench, to reach Highgate Cemetery.

About the Tour
Enjoy a fascinating 75-minute guided tour of the West side of Highgate Cemetery, led by highly knowledgeable volunteer guides. Highlights include:

The Circle of Lebanon

The Terrace Catacombs (opened exclusively for tour participants)
Your ticket also grants full access to the East side of the cemetery, which is equally rich in history and character. You’re welcome to explore at your leisure after the guided portion.
Please note:

The tour includes two flights of stairs with no handrail.

The return walk to Highgate Village via Swains Lane is uphill and quite steep (about 6 minutes).
Children are welcome, though the tour is designed for adults. If a child becomes disruptive, we kindly ask that you step aside until they are settled. The tour price remains the same for adults and children, and includes travel.
After the Tour
You’ll have free time to explore. Options include:

A walk across Hampstead Heath via Parliament Hill and Highgate Ponds

A visit to Kenwood House or the historic Spaniards Inn (highly recommended)

Alternatively, return to Highgate Village to enjoy its many pubs, cafés, and restaurants, such as The Flask, once frequented by Sting
