On Saturday: We head up to Liverpool with a refreshment stop enroute. We will aim to arrive at Liverpool at approximately 2pm (traffic permitting). One you’ve unpacked you can explore vibrant Liverpool on a Saturday evening. You may wish to see the famous river front; The Liver and Cunard buildings or the Museum of Liverpool. You may want to explore the shops and resturants of the Albert Docks or head away from the River Mersey to Chinatown or find some Beatles Memorabilia. Don’t have too many sherberts as we’re up early for breakfast.

Once the cast and crew head home after a week of filming, the doors are opened for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Manchester’s most famous street. Join one of the expert tour guides and step into the world of Coronation Street like never before.

- Step onto the authentic Coronation Street – the world’s largest single TV production site where the dedicated cast and crew film throughout the week.
- Visit iconic locations such as the Rovers Return, The Kabin and Platt’s family home.
- Go inside the interior sets of Prima Doner and Weatherfield police station.
- Step into replicas of famous sets like Rovers Return and Roy’s Rolls in the Coronation Street Exhibition.
- Discover iconic props and costumes from the show’s rich history.
Our timed entry is 10am, the tour and exhibition will last approximately 90 mins. The Coronation Street Visitor Centre has a cafe on site and there are many other places to eat and explore in and around Media City, Salford. Just a short stroll are: Media City Waterside, The Lowry and The Imperial War Museum. Whilst these are not included in the cost of this event, you may wish to add one of these to your day before we board the coach homewardbound.
Whether you’re looking for history, art, culture, nightlife or if you want to shop till you drop, Ibis Liverpool Centre Albert Dock – Liverpool One positions you perfectly to enjoy it all. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk away from the sights of Liverpool, including Albert Dock, Mathew St, Liverpool One, The M&S Bank Arena, Liver Building, (remember to say ‘Hi’ to Bertie & Bella), The Three Graces, Tate Gallery and the Museum of Liverpool. Hotel Ibis Liverpool Centre Albert Dock – Liverpool One
Breakfast is Continental buffet.
The price for one person is £264 (this carries a £69 single person room supplement) as the hotel has mainly double/twin rooms) and includes your coach travel and entrance to the Coronatiojn Street Tour and Exhibition.
The price for 2 people sharing a Double/Twin Room is £195 each and includes your coach travel and entrance to the Coronation Street Tour and Exhibition.
If you’re booking as one person you will initially be charged £195 on the website and then you must pay an additional £69 via our Bank Account. Please e-mail: nhaynes250766@gmail.com to obtain Bank Account details. We regret that we will not be able to confirm single person bookings until both payments have been made.
You may bring a picnic for the coach if you wish to, however, I would ask you avoid any smelly foods and take your rubbish with you.
The drivers are in charge of our travel to Liverpool and Salford and whilst it maybe useful to assist the driver often sat navigation systems we have will not suffice for the coach route so we leave the plan to the capable driver.
Please refrain from walking up and down the coach as this can be dangerous. If you need to speak to me or the driver just pass a message down the coach – this is for your safety and the safety of other passengers.
I have high regard for my drivers and always ask customers if they would like to contribute to a non – obligatory tip as a thank you from us.
Please refer to the terms and conditions with regard to respecting others on the coach.
We will provide clear instructions where to meet the coach and the time we depart on the day. If you are unable to meet the coach at the departure time the coach will still depart on time as stated to be fair to others on board.
Please always take care when getting on and off the coach.
