We are delighted to confirm details of our Winchester Spa & Leisure Hotel overnight break, taking place on Thursday 26 March 2026.

Day One – Thursday 26 March 2026
We depart Southend at 10:30am, travelling by comfortable coach.
A comfort break will be made en route.

 

 

 

We expect to arrive in Winchester at approximately 2:30pm.

The hotel is located within a 15-minute walk of Winchester city centre.

Day One – Thursday the 26th March 2026 –  Travel and your free time to enjoy Winchester at your leisure.

Day Two – Friday 27 March 2026 – Breakfast at the hotel then Free time to continue exploring Winchester – Usually there is a large market to explore. Fancy a treatment, I suggest you book for the evening on day one or early morning on day two.

 

The coach will depart at 4:00pm for the return journey home.

The Spa at The Winchester Hotel

Experience the fully refurbished luxury Spa at The Winchester Hotel for a day of relaxation and serenity. Our range of high-quality Spa facilities includes:

Plunge-Pool, Steam Room, Sauna, Hydro-Pool, Fitness Studio, 6 Luxury Treatment Rooms.

Explore our range of holistic and beauty treatments in one of our luxury treatment rooms, performed by our team of professional spa therapists.

I am pleased to confirm guests are welcome to book spa treatments on the day of departure, subject to availability. As your group will be departing at approximately 4.00pm, this should provide suitable flexibility for treatments on the second day. All treatments must be booked in advance to ensure availability, as we are unable to guarantee last-minute appointments. Guests may contact the Spa directly at thespa@thewinchesterhotel.co.uk.
For your reference, the Spa opening hours are as follows:
  • Monday to Friday: 7.00am – 8.00pm (last entry at 7.30pm)
  • Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays: 8.00am – 7.00pm (last entry at 6.30pm)
Hotel guests over the age of 13 are able to use the Spa facilities free of charge from check-in until check-out. Facilities include the plunge pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and gym. Please note that complimentary access applies only during the stay period, and any additional treatments are charged separately.
Given the 11.00am check-out time, guests wishing to have treatments on the second day may find morning or early afternoon appointments most suitable, particularly if they wish to maximize their time prior to departure.
Coach parking, please note that coach parking is council-owned and located adjacent to the hotel. We hope to be able to park here however, this i not guaranteed.

Treatment Hours:

Monday-Saturday: 9.30am-6pm

Sunday: 9.30am-5pm

 

Children under 13 years can use the swimming pool between the hours of 9am-10am when accompanied by an adult.

Hotel guests can enjoy complimentary use of our spa during your stay with us.  This includes full access to our gym, pool and wellness facilities.  Pre-booking is not required. Hotel guests have access from the day of arrival until the date of departure.

However, there is no guarantee of availability, and no financial reimbursement will be available for these facilities being unavailable.

Robes can be purchased for use during your stay at £7.50, however a £30.00 charge will be applied to the card on file if the robe is not returned. 

Please do not book a single room as this will sadly incur a fee as all the singles are now reserved. Coach collection point tbc.
