Enjoy a delicious cream tea while travelling aboard a beautiful heritage steam train along the Watercress Line, through 10 miles of scenic Hampshire countryside beside the South Downs National Park.

We arrive at the station around midday, giving time for some fresh air and optional refreshments at the station café before boarding.

Train Details

• Departure from Alresford Station: 13:00

• Return time 2.30pm.

• Free time until 4pm   – head to Alresford High Street
  Pretty Georgian high street with independent shops, cafés, tearooms and pubs.
  • Station to High Street: about 5–7 minutes walk (0.3 miles).
